Specialist Surgeon

Dr Tony Palasovski provides specialist oncoplastic breast surgery exclusively to Wollongong. 

Bringing a wealth of experience and specialised skills, he provides superior breast surgical techniques and multidisciplinary breast care.

After receiving his surgical fellowship in 2011 to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Palasovski completed prestigious fellowships in general and oncoplastic breast surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, a world leading authority in the management of complex breast cancer.

He has since worked as a VMO, general and oncoplastic breast surgeon, with particular interest in the assessment and treatment of breast cancer and the delivery of breast surgeries that conserve or restores the natural shape of the breast.

His approach combines early detection and diagnosis with advanced techniques for excisional and implant based reconstructive surgery.

Dr Palasovski operates in Wollongong exclusively with all pre and post operative care based at our Wollongong Practice.

DR. MATTHEW BECK


General Surgeon

Dr Matthew Beck is a highly regarded Australian born and locally trained General surgeon who specialises in breast cancer and reconstructive surgery, melanoma and skin cancer surgery, endocrine and general surgery in the Wollongong and Sydney region. He has an interest in breast cancer surgery as well as melanoma and skin cancer surgery including local flap repairs, endocrine thyroid surgery and general surgery such as laparoscopic surgery.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle, he returned to Wollongong for his junior doctor training. He then embarked to RPA hospital in Sydney for surgical training including breast cancer, melanoma surgery as well as all areas of general surgery. Post fellowship Dr Beck undertook the highly regarded 2 year Oncoplastic breast surgery fellowship through the Breast surg ANZ program.

Dr Beck is a VMO at the Wollongong Private hospital, as well as both Wollongong and Shellharbour public hospitals and the Wollongong day surgery.

He is a member of the Illawarra and shoalhaven Multidisciplinary team for breast and melanoma cancer surgery.

Dr Beck operates through the Specialist Breast Clinic and works in an integrated practice to achieve the best possible outcomes, the practice has multiple pieces of specialist technology to assist in surgical planning as well as ancillary care including a 3D breast mapping VECTRA machine.
