        Thyroid assessment including ultrasound and biopsy are used for assessing thyroid problems including hyperthyroidism, goitre and lumps Some of these thyroid conditions require thyroid or hemi(half)thyroid removal.         A Colonoscopy can also include banding or injection of internal haemorrhoids to help with bleeding. Larger haemorrhoids may require surgical excision to improve your symptoms.


        INGROWN TOENAILS

        Removal of problematic ingrown toenails can be a painful and difficult to manage problem. Early management includes appropriate nail care, antibiotics and sometimes podiatry. Longstanding or advanced ingrown toenails often require a minor surgical procedure to correct the issue. This is usually done under local anaesthetic and requires excision of the nail metric to prevent recurrence.
